Soil-biodegradable bioplastic for mulch films
Mulch films made from our bioplastic M·VERA® are soil-biodegradable and offer a time-saving and environmentally friendly solution for agriculture. After harvesting, they can simply be ploughed under – without time-consuming disposal, without residues, without microplastics. Whether soil-biodegradable, home compostable or industrial compostable: produce your plant clip from M·VERA® bioplastics.
Biodegradable plant clips
We offer three customised material solutions for the production of plant clips. Different compounds are available depending on the clip design – whether with or without a hinge – and the specific requirements for stability, flexibility and biodegradation. Our portfolio includes soil-biodegradable, home compostable and industrial compostable materials. This means you will always find the optimum material solution for your application.
Bioplastics for plant clips
Below you will find a selection of our materials that are particularly suitable for plant clips. We would also be happy to advise you on our other plastics.
For soil-biodegradable clips with hinge
Biodegradable compound with home and soil certification, particularly suitable for hinged plant clips. Thanks to its high bendability, M·VERA® GP1045 offers the necessary flexibility.
For soil-biodegradable clips without hinge
The M·VERA® GP1012 is suitable for plant clips without a hinge. The compound is also home and soil certified and has an organic content of over 98 %.
For industrial compostable clips without hinge
If industrial compostability is sufficient, M·VERA® GP1015 is a good material for plant clips without hinges. The slightly stiffer material has an organic content of 68 %.
Soil-biodegradable plant pots can simply be planted along with the plants.
Home and soil biodegradable plastic for plant pots
M·VERA® GP1045 is particularly convincing for applications such as flower pots that benefit from biodegradability. This M·VERA® bioplastic is certified according to both: OK compost HOME and OK biodegradable SOIL. This means that the plastic biodegrades both in home compost and in the soil.
