Soil degradable and from renewable sources
M·VERA® GP1012 combines environmental friendliness and good properties in one product: The compound is biodegradable according to OK compost HOME as well as OK biodegradable SOIL and is therefore excellently biodegradable in home compost and in the soil. The renewable content in the polymer is over 98 %, which emphasises its sustainability. It is reinforced with natural fibres which results in a low density with simultaneously good rigidity at the same time. The heat deflection temperature is over 100 °C, which qualifies it for temperature-stressed applications.
The material is safe for direct contact with food. The beige translucent appearance ensures an attractive appearance. M·VERA® GP1012 was developed for injection moulding, can be easily processed on conventional machines and is ideal for packaging and as bite protection in forestry.
