Impressive toughness
M·VERA® B5039 is a high performance PLA-free plastic compound that has been specially developed for sustainable packaging applications. It is OK compost INDUSTRIAL certified and suitable for direct food contact which makes it an environmentally friendly and safe choice.
With its very high strength, high toughness and high dart drop, M·VERA® B5039 offers excellent resistance – especially in sophisticated applications. The material has an opaque appearance and is ideal for robust shopping carrier bags.
Thanks to its outstanding performance, M·VERA® B5039 also enables the production of thinner films without losing stability. The material can be easily processed on conventional blown film lines which ensures efficient production. Overall, M·VERA® B5039 offers an ideal combination of environmental awareness, material savings and high functionality.
