Homo PP with 30 % post-consumer recyclate
M·CYCLOSE® PPH 280 UBQ30 nat is a PP compound that combines sustainability with high-performance material properties. The material is based on polypropylene and also contains 30% of a filler from post-consumer recyclate (PCR) which is recycled from household waste. This allows the material to help conserve resources and reduce the carbon footprint of components.
The compound is characterised by very good processability in injection moulding. Its good flowability enables efficient and flexible processing, even for complex moulded parts. At the same time, the material impresses with improved rigidity which makes the manufactured components particularly dimensionally stable. The increased breaking stress ensures good mechanical strength, even in demanding applications, and the high heat deflection temperature (HDT) guarantees that the end products reliably retain their shape even at elevated temperatures.
M·CYCLOSE® PPH 280 UBQ30 nat has a dark, natural appearance with visible fibre structures. The material is ideal for a wide range of non-food applications.
