UN Global Compact
Our parent company AKRO-PLASTIC is actively committed to the United Nations Global Compact – a voluntary initiative in which companies pledge to integrate universal sustainability principles and promote the United Nations' goals, particularly those for sustainable development. We participate in various UN Global Compact action platforms that bring together business, leading experts, civil society and partners from governments and the United Nations. Our aim is to address common challenges, explore market opportunities and promote innovation to support the Sustainable Development Goals.

About the United Nations Global Compact
The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies worldwide to align their business activities and strategies with ten universally recognized principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. The aim is to promote the concerns and goals of the United Nations for sustainable development. The UN Global Compact acts as a guiding platform for the promotion, implementation and transparent disclosure of responsible business practices. Since its foundation in 2000, the UN Global Compact has developed into the largest initiative for sustainable entrepreneurship. It currently comprises almost 70 local networks and is supported by over 9,000 companies and 3,000 private signatories in more than 160 countries.
